It’s time to celebrate the holidays, and we have the perfect plan to get the revelry started! Debevino Winery and Chef J. Rex are collaborating to serve up some scrumptious pairings -- with a celebratory ethnic flair.
We are featuring four of our fine wines along with delectable dishes prepared by Chef J. Rex (Justin Rexroad), who is trained in culinary arts and sommelier studies. As we taste through the wines and food, we will learn why the wine complements the food!
Make your reservations now to join us under our heated and ventilated tent on Sunday, December 13, at 1:00 pm. The cost is $45 per person, and includes these pairings:
Pinot Grigio: Pozole, topped with cabbage, radishes, cilantro, macha (Mexican soup traditional to the season)
Chardonnay: Bacon & Tuscan kale with blue hubbard squash braised in wine, topped with toasted pine nuts, grana panado
Zinfandel: Latkes, shaved roast beef, horseradish creme, topped with candy cranberry and crispy brussels sprouts
Dessert: Tres leches bread pudding with shaved chocolate and mulled Malbec wine
